Eine interdisziplinär ausgerichtete Rehabilitation erhöht die Chancen von Post-COVID-Patientinnen und -Patienten auf Besserung ihrer Beschwerden. Zu diesem Schluss kommen die Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund (DRV) und die Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung (DGUV) in einem gemeinsamen Eckpunktepapier für die medizinische Rehabilitation bei Post-COVID-Syndrom. Mit Hilfe des Eckpunktepapiers wollen DRV und DGUV die Versorgung derjenigen Erkrankten verbessern, bei denen mehrere Organsysteme betroffen sind und bei denen isoliert auf ein Fachgebiet ausgerichtete Reha-Konzepte nicht ausreichen.
„Wir haben schon früh in der Pandemie Programme gestartet, um den Betroffenen zu helfen, aber auch, um mehr über die Krankheit und Behandlungsmöglichkeiten zu erfahren“, sagt die stellvertretende Hauptgeschäftsführerin der DGUV, Dr. Edlyn Höller. Ein Beispiel seien der Post-COVID-Check und die Post-COVID-Reha, die über die BG Kliniken Versicherten der gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung angeboten würden. „Allein aus diesen Programmen liegen Erfahrungen mit über 100.000 Fällen vor, die in unser Eckpunktepapier eingeflossen sind.
Ziel der Eckpunkte: DRV und DGUV wollen damit Reha-Einrichtungen unterstützen, entsprechende Angebote für ihre Versicherten zu gestalten. „Aber auch für Betroffene und ihre Ärzte ist das Papier eine Hilfe. Sie finden darin Orientierung für die Auswahl geeigneter Angebote“, so Gross. „Die Eckpunkte ergänzen damit die bestehenden medizinischen Leitlinien.“
