With the “Call for Participation” (CfP), the Basi has called for ideas for sustainable safety and health at work to be submitted for the upcoming A+A Congress. In his welcoming address, Federal Minister of Labor Hubert Heil emphasizes: “Sustainability is a focus of the A+A Congress 2023. Sustainable management not only includes environmentally friendly production processes, but also social sustainability and good working conditions. Safety and health in the workplace are essential for this. Only together can we master the challenges of a changing world of work.”

The official deadline for topic proposals for the International A+A Congress 2023 is approaching. “The aim is to help shape safety and health at work and to develop it sustainably with all stakeholders,” emphasizes Dr Christian Felten, Managing Director of Basi, which is organizing the 38th International A+A Congress in conjunction with the International A+A Trade Fair from 24 to 27 October 2023 in Düsseldorf.

Five core topics are the focus of the A+A Congress 2023:
– Strategies for sustainable safety and health at work
– Health at work
– Prevention of biological, chemical and physical hazards
– Occupational safety and prevention
– Offers for special target groups, sectors and networks
