World Day for Safety and Health at Work: the impact of climate change

The right to a safe and healthy working environment for all is the focus of World Day for Safety and Health at Work on April 28, 2024. This year, the focus is on the impact of climate change on safety and health at work. The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work EU-OSHA is committed to examining the impact of climate change and adaptation measures, as well as providing practical guidance on managing occupational risks. A guide to dealing with heat in the workplace, available in over 20 languages, and a report examining the impact of the future of agriculture and forestry on occupational health are among the contributions. A forecasting project and an overview of the impact of climate change on occupational safety and health are in the preparatory phase.
Further information can be found on the EU-OSHA website.
