Common goal: More safety and health at work! The Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work (Basi) hosted a board and members’ meeting at the home of Basi member DIN in Berlin. The guests came in large numbers and were committed to making the event a success.
The meetings focused on preparations for the A+A Congress 2025, which will be enriched by many new aspects.
In this context, Basi is extending its deadline for the Call for Participation: it is possible to submit fresh and innovative contributions under the motto “People matter” for the 39th International A+A Congress 2025 until November 15, 2024. Ideas, concepts or practical solutions for the humane design of work in times of change can simply be submitted to the congress via the interactive online form, further information can be found on the Basi website.
Professor Anke Kahl from the University of Wuppertal is also one of the campaigners for safety and health at work. Her presentation at the Basi members’ meeting was a particular highlight. With expertise and passion, she impressively presented the latest developments and findings from the work of the ASGA, the Committee for Safety and Health at Work, the advisory body of the Federal Ministry of Labor (BMAS) on the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
We look forward to the next steps towards A+A 2025!
