More commitment to health: Second report of the National Prevention Conference
The latest, second report from the National Prevention Conference (NPK) to the Federal Ministry of Health shows how social insurance providers and private health insurers have increased their commitment to health and prevention between 2019 and 2022 on the basis of the Prevention Act.
It illustrates how the voting members of the NPK are committed to cooperation across social insurance institutions and a coordinated approach at the interfaces of their service areas. The report also makes it clear that the federal framework recommendations have laid the foundation for strengthening social situation-related health promotion and prevention. Sustainable structures and cooperation at state level have been expanded under the umbrella of the state framework agreements. It illustrates how these structures have proven their worth under the changed conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
