The umbrella organization BVPG (Federal Association for Prevention and Health Promotion) has been committed to health in Germany for 70 years. In 2024, it will celebrate its anniversary together with its member organizations, including Basi, its board and its network. Various activities are planned. The highlight of the anniversary year 2024 will be the BVPG status conference, which will be based on the position paper “Further development of prevention and health promotion” and will also highlight the BVPG’s milestones over the past decades.

Founded in 1954, the umbrella organization has set itself the goal of improving and maintaining prevention and health promotion in Germany.
