More protection against dust at work

Dust is omnipresent in nature and in all areas where people live and work. In many areas and work processes, however, activity-related dust concentrations can reach dangerous levels, which must be countered with effective protective measures. Dr. Christian Felten, Managing Director of the Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work (Basi), deals with the different types of dust, hazards and limit values in his latest article in the Swiss trade journal “Safety-Plus” for occupational health and safety. The article is available exclusively to visitors to the Basi website. Further information on “Safety-Plus” can be found on the magazine’s website.
