Together with its members, Basi is committed to peaceful diversity within society. “It is currently more important than ever to take action against polarization and exclusion. This is why Basi is joining the ‘Trier Declaration ‘ of the German Association of Cities and Towns” and supports the statement of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) for openness, tolerance, respect and non-violence,” explains Dr Christian Felten, Managing Director of Basi.
“Basi supports the protests against anti-constitutional activities and will continue to work with its partner organizations for a strong, democratic civil society. We also attach particular importance to international and intercultural exchange in our cooperation for safety and health at work in order to develop ourselves further,” emphasizes Dr. Felten. One example for him is the successful “Vision Zero Days” at the A+A Congress, which Basi regularly organizes together with the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and the ORP Foundation (Occupational Risk Prevention).
