Basi at the Expo in Osaka 2025: Innovations for safety and health at work

The Expo 2025 world exhibition in Osaka will focus on innovative approaches to prevention, digitalization and artificial intelligence in occupational safety and health – supported by Basi, the Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work (Basi).

As part of the international symposium “Global Initiative on Safety and Health at Work (GISHW)”, Basi will be participating in an exciting program with leading experts from Germany on Friday, 18 July 2025, from 16:00 to 17:00 on the Main Stage at INTEX Osaka.

Dr. Christian Felten (Basi) will present innovative approaches to prevention, digitalization and artificial intelligence in occupational safety:

Moussa Yassin (Pixaera): The Future of AI and Immersive Learning in Safety – an interactive live session with realistic simulation.

Sven Timm (DGUV): Vision Zero, AI and the Future of Prevention at Work – Insights into AI-supported prevention in Germany.

Dr. Urs Schneider (Fraunhofer IPA): Changing Human Work by Innovative Digital Ergonomics Tools – digital ergonomics solutions for healthier workplaces.

Thomas Bömer (DGUV/IFA): Making Workplaces Safer by Using AI – an assistance system for the safe use of circular saws will be presented.

With these contributions, the experts show how Germany is using digital technologies and international cooperation to drive forward Vision Zero – zero accidents at work and occupational illnesses.
