One year of #mehrAchtung: campaign presents first results

The #mehrAchtung initiative launched a new chapter in the “Slow down” campaign a year ago. Basi has been a media partner of this campaign from the very beginning and has now presented its initial results at the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport in Berlin (pictured: Susanne Eisenberg and Natascha Plankermann from Basi, from left).

Christiane Leonard, Vice President of the German Road Safety Council (DVR), emphasizes in connection with the campaign: “The renewed increase in accident figures shows us that we will most likely not achieve the goals we have set ourselves to significantly reduce the number of road fatalities and serious injuries in Germany and Europe. We are therefore all called upon to make road safety the focus of our work in order to achieve the goal of reducing the number of road fatalities by 40 percent by 2030.”

Further information on #mehrAchtung can be found on the campaign website.
