The 23rd Status Conference of the German Association for Prevention and Health Promotion (BVPG) is dedicated to the current and future challenges of prevention and health promotion on the occasion of the association’s 70th anniversary. These will be highlighted in four main topics. The digital status conference “Prevention and health promotion: developing and shaping together” will take place on 2 September 2024 from 11:00 to 15:15.
Dr. Kirsten Kappert-Gonther MdB, President of the BVPG and acting Chairwoman of the Bundestag Committee on Health, will look back on the key developments in prevention and health promotion in Germany, which the BVPG has played a key role in shaping. The subsequent specialist presentations will focus on the social changes in Germany and the associated challenges in the field of action. Approaches for the needs-based further development and possibilities for the (political) design of prevention and health promotion will be examined in four main topics.
