Alumni can now apply with their final theses for the German Road Safety Council (DVR) 2025 sponsorship award. The prize is awarded to outstanding theses that deal with the topic of “road safety”. The prize is awarded jointly with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the accident insurance funds and employers’ liability insurance associations. The deadline for entries is December 20, 2024.

Graduates of a Master’s, Bachelor’s, Diplom or Magister degree program can submit their application via PDF. Unfortunately, doctoral theses cannot be considered. Theses from all disciplines are welcome. The decisive factor is that the subject of the research is dedicated to the topic of road safety. In addition, the theses should provide concrete points of reference on how road safety can be improved in practice. In this way, the scientific work can provide important impetus and insights for future road safety work. The work must be completed between 2023 and 2024.
