The German Road Safety Council (DVR) presents the Vision Zero Award to recognize innovative projects that are committed to a world without road deaths and serious injuries. A total of €9,000 in prize money is awarded to initiatives that have already been successfully launched and are designed for the long term. Entries can be submitted via the application form until May 4, 2025.

Who can apply? Associations, companies, institutions, educational establishments, transport associations, charities as well as cities and municipalities in Germany are eligible to participate. The projects must be non-commercial and be particularly committed to road safety work.

The award ceremony will take place as part of the DVR Arena on December 9, 2025 in Berlin. Further information can be found on the DVR website.
