Avoiding work intensification, mastering digitalization and dealing with the consequences of climate change and decarbonization – these are just some of the many challenges that occupational safety will face in the future. The hybrid event “Die Basi in Dialogue with the DGUV and EU-OSHA” in Berlin focused on how risks are scientifically identified and what is already being done to counter them. Around 490 participants took part in lively surveys and put numerous questions to Dr. Christian Felten, Managing Director of the Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work (Basi), who chaired the dialogue.

Do we work more relaxed and effectively if we plan more intensively and precisely? How do we deal safely with carcinogenic hazardous substances? And: What risks to our health can we generally expect in the workplace in the future? Answers to these and other topical questions can be found at the upcoming events of Basi, the Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work, with its guests – online, on site or hybrid. From October 2022, the “Call for Participation” will also be looking for exciting topics for the A+A Congress 2023.
