The education sector employs around 10 million people across the EU, and one in four teachers says their job has a negative impact on their mental health. A new EU-OSHA report looks at how to prevent psychosocial risks and support good mental health among teachers, academic staff, research assistants and other education professionals.

Climate change is no longer a distant risk for occupational safety and health – it is already shaping working conditions across Europe. EU‑OSHA has now published a comprehensive set of resources exploring how climate-related developments will affect the future of work and worker protection.

Mental health at work is moving to the center of the European agenda. With its new Healthy Workplaces Campaign “Together for Mental Health at Work (2026–2028)”, EU‑OSHA is putting a strong focus on how organizations can better manage psychosocial risks and create healthier working environments.

EU-OSHA has published a new highlight focusing on how labour inspectorates and prevention services can better support occupational safety and health (OSH) compliance in companies throughout Europe.
