Occupational medicine
According to the German Society for Occupational and Environmental Medicine (DGAUM), medical prevention concepts should be broadened in order to relieve the burden on the heavily strained healthcare system. It is important to anchor occupational medical expertise more firmly in the thinking and actions of those responsible. The DGAUM is therefore calling for cross-sectoral medical care.
BAD Gesundheitsvorsorge und Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, the market leader for occupational health and safety, occupational medicine and occupational health management in Germany and a Basi member, has agreed to cooperate with the August-Wilhelm Scheer Institute (AWS Institute), an independent and private digitalization institute. The institutions are pooling their expertise in the field of digital transformation and health promotion.
