Long COVID

Those affected by Long COVID often remain unable to work for a long time or can only do their work to a limited extent in the long term. The complex symptoms of Long COVID, the unpredictability of its course and the risk of deterioration if stress limits are exceeded pose challenges in terms of treatment and reintegration into the workplace. The research project “Return to Work (RTW) after and with Long COVID” of the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) aims to develop recommendations for the reintegration of employees with Long COVID.
