As part of the European Week Against Cancer (May 25–31), EU-OSHA has released a new report highlighting the occupational cancer risks faced by health and social care workers. The study reveals that 29.5% of workers in this sector were exposed to at least one of 24 assessed cancer risk factors during their last working week. The most common exposures include ionizing radiation, formaldehyde, ethylene oxide, and artificial UV radiation.
