Dr. Thierbach explains why the big breakthrough is still a long way off and why the topic of &#8220;standardization&#8221; is not an easy one. One of his theses is that the hype phase for smart PPE (personal protective equipment) is over &#8211; manufacturers are now concentrating on specific developments that the market needs.
