The 38th International A+A Congress 2023 is taking shape: Sustainable strategies for safety and health at work have been identified as a key topic for the congress, which will take place alongside the A+A trade fair in D\u00fcsseldorf from October 24 to 27, 2023. Basi, the Federal Working Group for Safety and Health at Work, has conducted a survey of experts (see video below). “Sustainable business not only includes environmentally friendly production processes, but also social sustainability and good working conditions. Safety and health at work are essential for this,” emphasizes Federal Minister of Labour Hubertus Heil with regard to the topics of the 38th International A+A Congress. <\/p>\n
Around 30 sessions are planned <\/strong><\/p>\n “Our key concerns also include the challenges posed by climate change in the workplace, digitalization and artificial intelligence, as well as mobile working, the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders and mental stress. We are delighted to be able to offer our guests around 30 sessions. You are also cordially invited to the Vision Zero Days, which will focus on how accidents and illnesses in the workplace can be prevented overall,” says Basi Managing Director Dr. Christian Felten.<\/p>\n Digital Factory and Safety II<\/strong><\/p>\n And the 38th International A+A Congress has much more to offer: For example, successful application examples from occupational safety practice will be presented and discussed in the “Safety II” workshop. How working conditions can be designed ergonomically and economically at an early stage with the help of software systems will be the topic of a session on the “Digital Factory” organized by the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (IFA). In a separate session, the Federal Ministry of Labor will be looking at how risk assessment can systematically ensure good work design in the event of mental stress. <\/p>\n There will also be events on the prevention of biological, chemical and physical effects, operational safety and occupational prevention.
