PASIG workshop: Health-promoting work = attractive work?<\/p>\n
How can work be designed in such a way that it promotes health and retains skilled workers? This is a key question at the 23rd Psychology of Safety and Health Workshop (PASIG), which is being organized by the FernUniversit\u00e4t in Hagen, the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) and the PASIG Executive Board from 13 to 15 May 2024. The event will take place at the German Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition (DASA) in Dortmund. The title topic is: “Health-promoting work = attractive work? Work design in times of a shortage of skilled workers”. Participants will deal with current challenges such as risk assessment for mental stress and flexible work design to maintain employability. There will also be dialogue forums and expert groups on established topics such as mental stress and strain, work system design, safety and health culture, effectiveness, sustainability and evaluation, mobility, transport and traffic, leadership and organization, training and further education as well as professional issues. Feedback on participation is requested by September 15, 2023, after the Call for Participation it is possible to submit contributions until November 1, 2023. <\/p>\n
The participation fee is 220 euros for PASIG members, 330 euros for non-members and 100 euros for students (including catering for the day, workshop band and social evening). Accommodation and travel costs are to be paid by the participants themselves. <\/p>\n
